This exciting opportunity to join our Mayo Clinic Hospital Pharmacy Team is for a Cardiothoracic Transplant Hospital Pharmacist Specialist. This pharmacist will practice as a decentralized Pharmacist in the patient care areas in our hospital tower, as well as a clinical expert to support Transplant Practice at Mayo Clinic in Florida and drive the practice forward.
Effectively performs the activities and duties of the Pharmacist Specialist position with responsibilities including consultation, education, research and supervisory functions. Provides an expert level of guidance on medication use in the specialty area of practice. Serves as preceptor for Pharmacy Education program(s). Leads quality improvement projects in the specialty area of practice.
