Job Description

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack solutions integrating simulation software, emulators, and flight software to manage analysis, prototypes, and vehicles.
• Rapidly develop prototypes that validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
• Create and maintain high-fidelity simulation and emulation software for vehicles.
• Improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of simulation platforms.
• Collaborate with users and engineering teams to design and deliver features that improve productivity and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or science plus 1+ years of software development experience, or 3+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 1 year of professional experience building full-stack single-page web applications using JavaScript libraries such as React or Lit.
• Professional experience developing applications with Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Preferred experience includes object-oriented programming, highly available and concurrent systems, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, high-performance computing, large-scale software projects, debugging, performance optimization, and test automation.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and meet applicable ITAR work authorization requirements.
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends when required for proposals or critical project timelines.
