Job Description

About Fieldtrip

Fieldtrip is a luxury hospitality company that’s committed to setting the standard for short term rental (AirBNB) experiences. Our growing portfolio of 100+ luxury homes combine the best aspects of a home with the brand promise of a high-end hotel. We are focused on delivering a seamless guest through strong team collaboration, clear processes, and consistent service standards.

About the Role

The Listing & Distribution Associate is responsible for the technical health, connectivity, accuracy, optimization, and presentation of our property listings across Airbnb, Vrbo, direct booking channels, and other distribution platforms.

This role owns the full lifecycle of a listing, from initial setup and channel integration through ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and deactivation. The Listing & Distribution Associate ensures that rates, fees, availability, policies, content, and property data are syncing and displaying correctly across all channels.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of vacation rental systems and OTAs with a problem-solving mindset and an understanding of how listing content and merchandising impact visibility, conversion, and revenue.

Location: Remote - Type: Full-Time - Salary: $900 - $1300 Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Own listing health and connectivity across the PMS (Streamline), channel manager (Rentals United), direct booking website, and OTAs, proactively identifying and resolving sync errors, mapping issues, disconnected listings, API errors, and other integration problems.
  • Manage the full listing lifecycle, including setup, integration, activation, mapping, maintenance, temporary deactivation, reactivation, and offboarding across all applicable systems and channels.
  • Verify rates, fees, taxes, availability, restrictions, cancellation policies, occupancy, content, and other settings are pushing and displaying correctly across channels, troubleshooting discrepancies before they impact guests or revenue.
  • Conduct recurring listing health audits to identify connectivity issues, missing content, suppressed or inactive listings, incorrect configurations, duplicate listings, synchronization failures, OTA warnings, and other issues affecting bookability or performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical listing issues by identifying the root cause, determining whether the issue originates within the PMS, channel manager, OTA, website, or configuration, and coordinating with platform support or internal teams when escalation is required.
  • Optimize listing performance and merchandising through photography sequencing, titles, amenities, descriptions, property attributes, search filters, OTA settings, and other factors that influence visibility and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate portfolio tracking for active and inactive listings, channel status, listing IDs, URLs, integrations, subscriptions, paid programs, recurring fees, and other listing-related services.
  • Write and maintain accurate, conversion-focused listing content, translating property features into clear guest benefits while ensuring descriptions, amenities, sleeping arrangements, policies, and property details remain consistent across channels.
  • Partner with Revenue, Marketing, Operations, and Guest Experience to resolve listing issues, launch new properties, implement property changes, improve underperforming listings, and ensure distribution strategy supports broader business goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in vacation rentals, hospitality distribution, OTA management, property management systems, or channel management.
  • Strong understanding of OTA connectivity, channel mapping, inventory synchronization, fees, restrictions, and listing configurations. Rentals United and Streamline PMS knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes across multiple connected systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to use listing performance data to identify issues and optimization opportunities.
  • Understanding of digital merchandising, OTA search behavior, and conversion optimization.
  • Comfortable managing and auditing a large portfolio of properties across multiple channels.

What Success Looks Like

  • Every property is live on the right channels, accurate, up to date, and consistently represented across the portfolio.
  • New listings launch quickly, correctly, and with strong merchandising from day one.
  • Listings clearly communicate what makes each property unique.
  • Properties are continuously optimized based on performance, guest behavior, reviews, and market trends.
  • Underperforming listings are proactively identified and improved rather than simply maintained.
  • Active and inactive listings, subscriptions, fees, and channel connections are organized, accurate, and properly managed.
  • Marketing, Revenue, and Operations can rely on listing information as a clear and accurate source of truth.
  • Ultimately, listings generate stronger engagement, higher conversion, and more bookings.
