Job Description

Pay Rate: BR/hour

Shift Requirements:

12-hour shifts, either:
4:00 AM - 4:00 PM, or
4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 6 DAYS A WEEK
Candidates must be flexible and available to work either shift as needed.
Schedule requires 6 days per week.

Hiring Process:

We will be moving forward with the first 5 candidates who successfully clear all pre-employment requirements.

THIS IS 3 WEEK ASSIGNMENT WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION

Candidates must complete:
Background Check
Drug Test
Medical Questionnaire

Important Work Environment Information:
This position is located at a site where an ongoing union strike is taking place.
Employees will be required to report to a designated meeting location and be transported to the worksite.
Candidates should be aware that there may be active picketing and strike-related activity outside the facility, which can create a less favorable or less peaceful environment when entering and exiting the site.
Candidates must be comfortable working under these conditions and remain professional at all times.

Driving a forklift, and lifting, weighing, stacking and moving 50 lb bags of product for about 75% of the shift. These may be moved by forklift . Good housekeeping to be always maintained. Work in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company rules and regulations. Load & receive truck and rail. Ensure the products meet specifications, and HACCP requirements. Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and working in small spaces. Driving will be required to complete certain tasks. Safe operation of a forklift is required.
