Job Description

Madison Medical is a physician-led, multidisciplinary practice delivering high-level, integrated healthcare across primary care, pain and spine, chiropractic, sports and performance medicine, regenerative therapies, allergy, podiatry, internal medicine, and wellness optimization.

By uniting advanced diagnostics with collaborative specialty care, we provide precise, outcomes-driven treatment that addresses root causes, restores function, and supports long-term health. We operate at the highest clinical and operational standards, prioritizing innovation, communication, and an exceptional patient experience.

The Primary Care and Sports Medicine Physician plays a central role within Madison Medical, serving as both an independent provider and a collaborative partner in our integrated care model. This position is ideal for a physician who values excellence, teamwork, and practicing at the top of their license in a forward-thinking environment focused on outcomes and patient experience.

Schedule and Hours

Schedule is aligned with Madison Medical’s existing provider schedules. Clinic hours and patient volume expectations will be consistent with other physician roles within the practice. Some evening availability may be required based on patient demand and operational needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range is $150,000 to $250,000 annually, depending on experience, specialty training, and clinical fit.

Incentive compensation is offered through a generous performance-based bonus structure tied to productivity, quality metrics, and practice growth. High-performing physicians have strong earning upside beyond base compensation.

Madison Medical offers a competitive benefits package including health insurance coverage at 80%, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement program. This role also provides long-term growth opportunity within a supportive, physician-led multispecialty environment.

Key Responsibilities

The physician will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions in a primary care and sports medicine setting. The role includes managing musculoskeletal complaints, performance-related injuries, and general internal medicine or family medicine needs.

The physician will develop evidence-based treatment plans and coordinate care across Madison Medical’s multidisciplinary team. This includes collaboration with pain and spine specialists, chiropractors, physical therapy and rehabilitation providers, and clinical support staff to ensure continuity and integrated care.

The physician will order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies, and will manage follow-up care based on clinical findings. The physician will also provide patient education focused on prevention, long-term wellness, and health optimization.

Accurate and timely documentation is required, along with adherence to clinical protocols, compliance standards, and quality improvement initiatives.

Depending on training and credentialing, the physician may also provide services related to hormone optimization, metabolic health, and performance medicine.

Qualifications

Candidates must be an MD or DO licensed (or eligible for licensure) in good standing. Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.

Sports medicine experience or fellowship training is strongly preferred. Experience in primary care, musculoskeletal medicine, wellness optimization, metabolic medicine, or performance medicine is a plus.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with a strong focus on patient experience.

Why Madison Medical

Madison Medical offers a physician-led, integrated care model with strong operational support and a high standard of clinical practice. Physicians have the opportunity to build a meaningful patient panel, collaborate closely with multiple specialties, and grow professionally within an innovative and outcomes-driven organization.
