Job Title: Procurement Specialist / Sourcing Analyst Department: Supply Chain, Procurement, and Fleet Operations 

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain, Procurement, and Fleet Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with Procurement Consultants, Category Managers, and key business partners to execute strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and procurement initiatives. You will serve as an analytical lead, developing pricing and cost models, evaluating market complexities, and delivering data-driven insights to optimize purchasing strategy and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analytical Modeling & Reporting: Build and maintain total cost of ownership (TCO), pricing, and spend models; deliver clear reporting to streamline bid evaluation and strategic decision-making.

• Market Research & Sourcing: Conduct comprehensive market intelligence research, evaluate supplier performance metrics, and assist with demand planning and risk considerations.

• Contract & Bid Support: Analyze spend history and existing contracts to prepare for negotiations; assist with or lead less complex sourcing activities and bid evaluations.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE), Service Center, and internal teams to resolve recurring issues, improve efficiency, and elevate stakeholder satisfaction.

• Cross-Functional Communication: Present research findings, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations directly to business partners and SCPFO leadership.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (OR 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree).

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in customer service and/or procurement.

• Skills: strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo and IBM Cognos analytics software.

Responsibilities

Conducts market research and analyzes performance metrics to support strategy and decisions regarding suppliers and markets.Conducts research and analysis on spend and prior contracts to assist with contract negotiation. Develop and utilize various models (e.g., pricing, total cost ownership). Builds and maintains reports to streamline analysis. Supports bid analysis, as needed.Communicates findings and recommendations of research and analysis to Supply Chain, Procurement, and Fleet Operations (SCPFO) and business partners.Collaborates, as needed, with the Supply Chain center of excellence (COE), the Service Center, and business partners on projects and other initiatives to address recurring issues, improve efficiency, and improve satisfaction.
