As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Loss Prevention in Bethesda MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel or resort location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly respond to security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests visitors and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents guest concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel public areas guest access points parking areas exterior grounds and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property to help deter unauthorized access disturbances and policy violations.
• Document incidents patrol activity and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
