Job Description

Salary: $175,000 - 250,000 per year Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on analytical capability, with confidence pulling and using data to guide decisions; strong SQL and Python skills are required
  • Deep knowledge of experimentation, measurement, and statistical inference, including power, significance, bias, causality, segmentation, and guardrails
  • Solid understanding of credit performance and unit economics within lending
  • Experience creating monitoring and performance reporting, and diagnosing changes in portfolio performance
  • Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to balance customer outcomes and profitability while navigating ambiguity and tradeoffs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and at senior leadership level
  • An ownership mindset and high standards for analytical quality and integrity
  • Experience in U.S. personal loans, ideally within fintech
  • Familiarity with underwriting strategy, risk models, and credit policy design
  • Experience partnering with capital markets or finance stakeholders on valuation, forecasting, or funding decisions
  • Experience working with data engineering or analytics engineering teams, including dbt, warehouse structures, and instrumentation
  • Familiarity with fairness and fair lending concepts, as well as monitoring frameworks
  • Experience implementing AI tools to support business monitoring
Responsibilities:
  • Own the full testing ecosystem for credit and product decisions, including experimentation design, implementation standards, and interpretation of results
  • Ensure the right data is captured in the right structure to answer the most important business questions
  • Establish statistically robust testing practices across teams
  • Develop repeatable frameworks for weighing conversion, risk, yield, and customer outcomes
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to make sure experimentation tools and logging support reliable measurement
  • Build and maintain a best-in-class monitoring and analytics suite that gives a complete view of the business
  • Provide clear visibility into credit performance, unit economics, funnel performance, and underwriting outcomes
  • Create tooling that helps diagnose issues early and with confidence
  • Deliver a trusted single source of truth for performance reporting that senior leadership can use for decision making
  • Help shape and continuously improve portfolio valuation, performance forecasting, and expectation-setting
  • Produce credible valuation and forward-looking performance views to support credit strategy, capital markets discussions, growth decisions, and product roadmap tradeoffs
  • Keep valuation methods grounded in strong assumptions, transparency, and observed performance
  • Build frameworks to assess portfolio value, strategy impacts, and risk exposure
  • Work directly with data, leading your own analysis, building models or tools where needed, and turning findings into clear recommendations
  • Communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactively identify analytical blind spots and drive improvements without waiting to be asked
