Salary: $114,400 - 124,800 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Production Support Analyst, Software Engineer, SDET, or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience supporting payment processing systems or financial transaction platforms.
• Strong knowledge of application troubleshooting and production support, including reviewing logs and system events to diagnose issues.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and investigation.
• Experience testing APIs with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools, and knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integration concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: Experience in banking, payments, FinTech, card processing, merchant services, or financial services.
• Preferred: Knowledge of ACH, wire transfers, RTP, FedNow, card payments, ISO 20022, or SWIFT messaging.
• Preferred: Experience with Client, Kibana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar monitoring and log management tools; exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP; familiarity with incident management and ITIL; or experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Preferred: Experience with C, Python, AI/ML, Grafana, or Kubernetes.
• Relevant technical skills include SQL and data analysis, API testing, log analysis, production support, requirements analysis, systems integration, JSON/XML, incident management, and root cause analysis.

• Monitor and support payment operations across multiple payment rails and transaction channels.
• Investigate payment exceptions, failed transactions, reconciliation discrepancies, and processing delays; trace transaction lifecycles and identify bottlenecks.
• Work with Operations, Product, Technology, and vendor teams to resolve production incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and payment failures by reviewing application, middleware, and system logs and connecting information across systems.
• Translate business problems into technical findings and actionable recommendations.
• Test and validate REST and SOAP APIs, troubleshoot failures and integration defects, analyze request and response payloads, and recommend corrective actions.
• Query databases with SQL and perform data validation, reconciliation, and trend analysis.
• Create reports and dashboards for operational monitoring and issue management; identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements.
• Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements, and prepare user stories, process flows, business rules, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate discussions among business users, operations teams, and engineering teams.
• Support user acceptance testing, production validation, and release readiness.
• Identify opportunities for automation and greater operational efficiency; contribute to incident and knowledge management, process documentation, and monitoring and alerting requirements.
